Navard Fooladkaran Ofogh was established in 2011 with the aim of producing all types of plain and high-carbon steel wires. The production of this type of wire was important because, due to the imposed sanctions on the country, the import of a specific category of high-strength wires had become difficult, resulting in foreign currency leaving the country, and causing problems in the production cycle.
Currently, Navard Fooladkaran Ofogh produces various alloy wires required by different industries, such as welding, construction, screw and bolt manufacturing, spring making, and more. Prior to the establishment of the company, the majority of the market’s needs were met through imports, which resulted in foreign currency leaving the country.
