Mild steel wire rods for welding electrodes and wires
Welding electrodes and wires are the most important welding consumables, which are produced according to authentic international standards like AWS and DIN. Taking into account the sensitivity of welding process, quality and cleanliness of raw materials used for production of welding electrodes and wires, have vital role and effect. SWRY11 steel wire rod with chemical analysis specified in JIS G3503 standard, is the source material for production of coated electrodes according to AWS A5.1, such as E6013 and E7018. Electrodes for submerged arc welding process are manufactured by cold drawing process of S2, S2Mo and S4 wire rods according to DIN EN 756. SG2 and SG3 wires are utilized in gas metal arc welding(GMAW) process according to AWS A5.18 and DIN 8559. Chemical and mechanical properties of grades of this group are as follows.
